March 23 (April 5, n.s.), 1917. NDP: Funeral of the victims of the revolution in Petrograd on April 5, 1917. A funeral procession - a demonstration - is walking down the street.

A red flag is carried in front.

The banner reads: "Russian Socialist-Democratic Labor Party.

Central Committee.

Workers of the world, unite." A large group from the Military Medical Academy is standing there.

The funeral demonstration is moving parallel to the Summer Garden towards the Field of Mars.

Rows of soldiers are standing along the procession.

They are carrying banners: "To the fighters for freedom." A delegation of women is walking.

The Engineers' Castle is also in the frame.
